Online Affiliate Marketing functions as revenue for sharing ventures between a website owner and a certain online merchant. The website owner places advertisements on his websites to either aid in selling the merchant’s products or simply send potential customers to the merchant’s website in exchange for a share of the profits grained through it.

3) Pay per Sale or Cost-per-sale affiliate programs:

Every time a sale is made from advertising on the affiliate’s website, a certain percentage is given to the affiliate’s account.

Amazon currently has over 1 million affiliates, which basically means that over 1 million sites are actively promoting their products each single day. The two major advantages to merchant:
1. being able to tie marketing effort directly to a lead or sales.

1. Additional sources of revenue for affiliate who also sells products/services are gained
2. A primary source of revenue for affiliate/s who offers services or information

Here are two approaches for operating A Successful Affiliate Marketing:

1. Try to acquire a huge and affiliate membership. The Amazon associates programs have over 1 million members which are very much diverse:
- RVPart – Sells parts related to recreational vehicles and motor homes.
- Dilbert – Functions as a site for viewing cartoons, playing games, sending electronic greeting cards and so much more.
- Books for Managers – Is a site for business related reviews and lists of the current top-selling business-related books by Business week, the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, USA Today, and other publications.

2. Try to acquire a smaller number of highly effective affiliates that possess a high volume of website traffic and offers web page content, products as well as services that are directly related to the merchant’s genre of products and services.

What To Do When AdSense Serves The Wrong Ads

The most common frustrations among AdSense publishers are 1) Google serving inappropriate ads on their web pages, 2) low click-through rates and 3) low payouts per click.

This article discusses the first frustration, which is highly correlated with the other issues, and discusses what webmasters can do to combat it.

To begin, it is important to understand how Google determines what ads to serve via the AdSense program. This explanation goes back to April 2003 when Google acquired Santa Monica, CA-based Applied Semantics. Applied Semantics' products are based on its patented CIRCA technology, which understands, organizes, and extracts knowledge from websites and information repositories in a way that mimics human thought and enables more effective information retrieval. A key application of the CIRCA technology is that it allows Google to, without human intervention, understand the key themes on web pages in order to deliver relevant and targeted advertisements.

However, the CIRCA technology is not always accurate or appropriate to the page. For example, in a general web page about health topics, AdSense is currently serving ads for insulin even though only two words in one paragraph relate to insulin. Rather, the site is much more focused on dieting.

One explanation may be that the CIRCA technology is tied to keyword pricing and inventory (e.g., AdWords advertiser daily budgets), and that AdSense serves ads that it hopes to maximize revenues. However, this often violates a critical AdSense rule - if the ads do not relate to the topic discussed on the web page, visitors will not click on them. Likewise, TopPayingKeywords.com always tells clients never to try and trick AdSense. That is, if customers are coming to your page from a link or advertisement for one topic (e.g., hair styles), never try to create a page about an unrelated topic (e.g., mortgages), just because that unrelated topic is an expensive keyword. While you will be serving expensive ads, because the topics are not correlated, visitors are unlikely to click on them.

Getting AdSense to serve the correct ads is a trial-and-error process. In the health page example above, all it took to get AdSense to remove the insulin ads was to remove the paragraph in the text that mentioned insulin. Fortunately, AdSense often updates itself within just a few hours, so it's easy to keep modifying your site until the most relevant, and hopefully most expensive, ads are served.

Another way to get indexed fast by Google is by getting backlink from establish website or blog. To get link from other website for free, you can put comment on other blog with your link on it or sign up to big forum and make a post with your link as signature or fill guest book on other website with you link as signature. When Google bot crawl their site and find your link on it, Google bot will immediately craw your blog and your blog will indexed fast.

Using Yahoo to Get Indexed
These methods are the fastest way to get your blog indexed by Google. The trick is very simple, you need to have my yahoo account and add your blog RSS URL in my yahoo. After you add your RSS URL, use www.pingomatic.com to ping several time Yahoo with your blog URL. Within 24-48 hours your blog will be indexed by Google.

If you submit your site to digg.com and write a nice article about it then this should get your new website indexed on google within 24 Hours off making the thread

Place Link In Signature
If you place your Link to your site in your signature on DigitalPoint Forums or any other popular forum then your site also should be indexed within 24 Hours off doing this.

Submit Your URL
Submitting your url to google will help your site getting indexed within 24 hours by notifiying google your site is ready to be crawled by there bots. use the URL [Only Registered users can see links ].
